The best in Australian country music at Gympie Music Muster
Every August, the normally peaceful Amamoor Creek State Forest Park comes alive with the sound of great music and good times for four glorious days. Like clockwork, thousands of revellers make the pilgrimage to pitch their tents, pull on their boots and celebrate the best of blues, roots and country at the Gympie Music Muster.
Spilling out over 50 hectares of bushland, you’ll find eight venues to watch the country’s finest musicians and plenty of one-of-a-kind bars to meet new mates. As they say, “there are no strangers at the Muster, only friends you haven’t met yet”.
Gympie muster’s reputation as a fun and friendly festival extends all the way to the main stage, where revellers join in unison to dance and cheer on their favourite acts. Not even a little (or a lot of rain) can stop the crowd from enjoying one hell of a party amongst the gums.
