Vegemite. Meat pies. ANZAC biscuits. Milo. Burger with beetroot. Bundaberg Ginger Beer.

Yep, Australia (or ‘Straya’ if you’re feeling particularly poetic) may be the land of celebrity chefs, abundant produce and some of the world’s best seafood when it comes to dining experiences on offer, but there are some little beauties of the more simple variety that make the list of well-loved, iconic Aussie food.

This Australia Day, we’re saying “cheers” to good ol’ fashioned favourites. Because there’s nothing like a Vegemite sandwich or a pie with sauce to make you feel like a true blue Aussie!
