One of Tangalooma’s favourite mums, dolphin Tinkerbell, arrived at shore on Friday night with a brand new calf in tow. The calf is number four for the 22-year-old Tinkerbell, and is a younger sibling for the very popular teenagers Tangles and Storm and the juvenile Phoenix. It will be some time before dolphin carers at Tangalooma can determine the sex and at least 12 months before the new calf joins the feeding program on Moreton Island.
Check out the video of its first visit to Tangalooma. Pretty damn cute!
