New ‘Best Expedition in the World’ website on the way!!!

It’s been at the development stage for the last few weeks but finally we have an announcement date for the new website that will follow the Best Expedition in the World.

On Wednesday 20th April my current blog here at www.islandreefjob.com will become defunct and the new URL of www.bestexpeditionintheworld.com will take over launching you into a world of travel, adventure, diving, the Great Barrier Reef and all the things that have enticed me to stay out here in Queensland exploring what is one of the most exciting places in the world.

The launch date for the expedition is scarily close now, May 21st will be here before I know it and there is SO much to do in order to get everything prepared…itineraries, equipment, logistics etc. One of the most exciting parts of an expedition is the organisation…and that’s before I’ve even got out onto the water to kayak, sail and dive the 1600kms along one of the Natural Wonders of the World.

You’ll be able to track my Hobie kayak on a Google mapset as its position is pinged to the site every 30 minutes, view photos and blogs that we’ll shoot as often as we can, read blogs about the daily experiences and watch interviews with some of the interesting characters we meet along the way who care and protect the incredible marine environment.

I want you to live the experience as much as I am; to sense the adventure, to witness the animal encounters I have, to stand on top of the islands and take in the view, to join me on the scary ocean crossings. So to do this I’ll have cameras along with me all the way filming every move we can, editing and posting clips as often as we can and bringing the reef into your home….

…then hopefully you’ll feel so inspired that you’ll want to come out and do it for yourself!
